Haircuts
Our grooming services are certified in both non-sporting and sporting services by the Groomer's Association of California. We are committed to quality grooming, such as a scissor finish to allow your pet to have a quality look. We offer the following styles in dog haircuts:
Lion Cut The name of the style originates from its resemblance to the mane. We will clip the body short while leaving the neck region dense and long. Note that the style's original aim was to allow the dogs to move through shallow waters without hindrance from sodden coats. Topknot If your dog has fine long hair, our groomers may recommend the Topknot style. It does not involve clipping. Instead, it requires tying and bunching so that hair, which usually falls on the facial side, remains tidy and neat on the dog's head. Cords Our groomers may recommend the unique cord style for rare breeds such as pulik and komondor. It is the most suitable when the dog's hair twists and twines to establish effects resembling dreadlocks. The unique thick cords will protect the pets from harsh elements. Puppy Clip Our professional groomers at Fontana will clip the tail base, feet, neck, and face very short in this style. We leave the other fur dense and long but shaped using scissors to compliment the dog's form. English Saddle In this style, we will clip the feet, neck, and face very short while leaving other parts of the coat long. However, we will cut the fur on the back, hind legs, front legs, and tail shorter to make fur areas distinct. |
